3月28日，西澳移民局公布了临时职业清单。新的职业清单不再分为Schedule 1，Schedule 2。新的职业清单目前只接受紧缺行业的杰出专家提交申请。西澳州政府会审核各行业的紧缺情况，并于5月底发布新的州担保职业清单。3月13日之前收到的州担保申请，将按照原来的审批标准进行。3月13日之前发出的州担保邀请会继续审理。
